A thick solid tombak Wound badge with a gold finish. Marked L/54 below the catch, indicating production by Schauerte & Höhfeld, Lüdenscheid. The badge remains is worn condition with a beautiful patina. Most of the finish is still left, apart from the swastika. The catch on this badge is slightly bent to the left, but definitely not repaired. A chance to obtain a rather desirable award is good condition.
