Transitional HJ Dagger with Motto – Wilhelm Wagner, Solingen-Merscheid
Transitional double marked HJ dagger with motto. Nicely marked with the Wilhelm Wagner trademark and RZM M7/25. Remains in very good condition. The blade is slightly polished but still retains a deeply visible ”Blut und Ehre” Motto, And has 2 very minor chips at the tip and one in the middle of the blade. Original grips and rivets are tightly in place, as well as a very good condition HJ diamond that wiggles. The blade features a raised Ricasso which matches the transitional period. Scabbard remains in decent condition, with a possible repaint which was possibly very well done. The leather strap is in rough condition with a lot of wear, the closing part has been replaced. Honest Hitler youth dagger from a not so often seen maker that still displays extreme well with the deeply etched motto.
