The Ring zur Förderung Deutsch-Englischer freundschaft was set up by the Dienststelle Ribbentrop in 1935, to promote friendship between the two countries. It was a sub-organization of the Deutsch-Englischer-Gesellschaft (DEG), known as the Anglo-German Fellowship (AGF). Badges and medals were made for the AGF on both sides of the pond between 1935 and 1939. Every single badge similar to this one, featured either in-print for the past 30 years by André Hüsken, or sold on many dealers sites, is an imitation with incorrect grammar as well as the incorrect Union Jack flag
