Rare Gau Sudetenland Ehrenzeichen Miniature stickpin

1.650,00

Rare buntmetal based Gau Sudetenland Miniature stickpin. The wreath is formed from a closed oak leaf wreath. At the bottom, the wreath is completed by a three-piece enameled clasp. The colors are black-red-black, representing the Sudetenland. To the left of the clasp is the number “19,” and to the right, “38.” Superimposed is a gilded eagle facing right with lowered wings. The eagle sits on a gilded, upright, cut-out swastika.

This example still has tight rivets and a very large amount of high quality finish still present. Premium stickpin that is even more rare to find than the large badge.

The Gau Sudetenland Badge was established in January 1944 and awarded to individuals in the Gau Sudetenland district who actively served in the Nazi Party during its early struggle (Kampfzeit). This was the latest and final Gau Honor badge that was institued before the fall of the Third Reich.
